To be sure, you can secure the fixed overlap at the chest with the small press stud. This way you don't show too much, also because of the lining up to about the knee.

The waist is accentuated by the loose sash of the same fabric, after which it extends into a flowy faux-wrap skirt that is slightly shorter at the front than at the back.
